When I left my corporate marketing career, I had had enough.
I’d had enough of people pleasing, of struggling into a corporate mould that never truly fitted, of working exhausting hours to hit someone else’s sales target.
I wanted more from my life. I knew I could create more for myself.
In setting up my own business I realised that for the first time I didn’t have a big brand name or big corporate badge to hide behind. It was just me. I needed to step out from behind the shadow of a brand and sell myself. It was time to find my voice and share my story.
I know first hand how daunting it can be putting yourself out there. Hesitating as you hit post, struggling to come up with something to share on social media, becoming overwhelmed with all your ideas but no clear plan or direction to focus them, spending hours rewriting that blog so that it’s absolutely perfect (Tip - it never will be, but good enough is just that!)
